TYPE: Corporate Event
SECTOR: Aerospace and airline industry
LOCATION: SS Great Britain, Bristol Harbour
PURPOSE : Capturing aerial photos of the airbus team during a corporate get together on the awesome SS Great Britain, during a beautiful sunset evening. The purpose was to capture this as a memorable moment for the whole team to mark a special occasion.
HOW IT WAS DONE:
This project came to us at very short notice — just three days before the event. While a tight turnaround can sometimes be a challenge, we worked quickly behind the scenes to make sure our existing commitments stayed on track while still delivering exactly what this client needed.
A key part of the planning involved coordinating with the team at the SS Great Britain to secure permission for take-off and landing operations. As this was a private event, everyone on site could be properly briefed, allowing the flight to be carried out safely, professionally, and with minimal disruption.
Timing was everything. In fact, had we launched our drone five minutes later, the sun would have dropped below the horizon and taken the perfect lighting with it. Fortunately, everything came together exactly as planned.
The client was delighted that we were able to organise the project at such short notice and deliver footage that matched the brief perfectly. Projects like this remind us why we love what we do — solving problems, adapting quickly, and capturing those moments that don’t wait around for a second take.

SECTOR: Private Hire
LOCATION: Compton Martin, Chew Valley, Somerset
PURPOSE : To immortalise and capture the day, the event, the emotions, this brilliant union between two people who love each other dearly, celebrating with all their families and friends.
HOW IT WAS DONE:
This project started with a small coincidence that gave us a good laugh. We were first contacted by a photographer looking for aerial coverage of a wedding. Then, just an hour later, the groom contacted us directly about what turned out to be exactly the same event. It took a little detective work to realise everyone was talking about the same wedding, but thankfully we figured it out before introducing ourselves twice.
As with any outdoor wedding, the biggest unknown was the weather. Great weather enhances an already special day, while poor weather can create challenges for everyone involved. Naturally, we were hoping for clear skies—not just so we could capture stunning aerial footage, but because nobody dreams of a wedding day spent dodging rain showers.
Our role covered three key parts of the day. First, we captured the bride’s arrival and entrance at the church. Next, we followed the newly married couple to their reception venue, conveniently located just a short distance away. Finally, we documented the celebrations as family and friends gathered to enjoy the evening festivities.
Fortunately, the weather was on our side for almost the entire day. Conditions remained dry throughout the key moments, with the rain only arriving towards the end of the celebrations. By that point, we had already captured everything we needed and knew the couple would have a collection of aerial footage to remember their special day for years to come.

LOCATION: Euridge Manor, Euridge Manor Farm, Colerne, Chippenham SN14 8BJ
PURPOSE : Provide aerial photos and videos of this special event to compliment the footage captured by fellow videographers, who were capturing the event on the ground.
HOW IT WAS DONE:
Without question, this was one of the most colourful and visually stunning weddings we have ever had the privilege of capturing from the air.
We were recommended to the bridal party by the talented photography and videography team at Made In Video, who were familiar with our work and felt we would be a great fit for the day. We were delighted to be brought on board and quickly became part of a wider team working together to create something special.
Communication throughout the planning process proved invaluable. A clear list of essential shots was provided in advance, ensuring we captured all the key moments that mattered most. Once those requirements were covered, we were given the creative freedom to explore the venue, guests and surroundings from unique perspectives. Thankfully, there was no shortage of opportunities—the entire day was packed with beautiful details, vibrant colours and incredible scenes that lent themselves perfectly to aerial filming.
One running joke throughout the day centred around the weather. As part of a shared email thread with the various suppliers, we regularly provided weather updates leading up to the event. This resulted in almost everyone we met asking the same question: “What’s the weather doing now?” We quickly became the unofficial wedding meteorologists, which provided plenty of laughs and helped keep spirits high.
The bride and groom looked absolutely fantastic, and the venue provided a spectacular backdrop for both aerial and ground-based imagery. The combination of colour, atmosphere and location created the perfect canvas for capturing memorable footage.
Below are some of our favourite moments from the day.
