How high can we fly?

The maximum altitude we are permitted to fly is 400ft (120m).
This is measured from the take-off/landing point and follows the undulations of the surface.

How far can we fly?

The maximum distance we are allowed to fly from the pilot is 500m (1,640ft).
This is providing we have visual line of sight (VLOS) of the aircraft.

How close are we allowed to fly to people & structures?

We are allowed 50m (164ft) if the people, vehicles, vessels and structures are not under our control with our Operational Authorisation. With our A2 CofC, we’re allowed to fly close to people, but take every precaution to not do this intentionally, unless the person or people are within our control. We always do our best to inform all relevant parties and stakeholders what’s happening, as this puts everybodies mind at ease.
